We’ll have booths with information and people to talk to, but the most important thing is that we’re talking about it and helping people be safe and healthy. Reborn to Defy the Empire: The Noble’s Second Chance at Revenge and Redemption

While many claim the Empire is living in an era of peace, others see only oppression and choose to rebel. In the dark of night, a chosen few gather to plot the regicide of the Emperor and overthrow the Empire, hoping to reclaim their lost kingdom. Among them stands Logan Macline.

Logan, a disgraced noble, has long lived a life of failure and disappointment. Seeking redemption and revenge, he joins the resistance, burdened with the task of protecting a secret tome coveted by both the rebels and the Empire.

During a sudden skirmish, Logan is forced to flee but eventually finds himself cornered. Refusing to surrender, he grips a pale blue orb that turns crimson in his hand. A blinding flash engulfs the room in a cataclysmic explosion. His final thoughts are of regret and sorrow…

Moments later, Logan awakens in a familiar room beside his old servant, Rick, a man long dead. Confused, he notices the Macline family crest adorning the walls. Then, the door opens, revealing his younger brother, Lonian, the same brother Logan failed to protect, the same one executed by the Empire.

Lonian apologizes, but Logan insists it wasn’t his fault. Emotion chokes his words as decades of regret flood to the surface. For the first time in years, he finally says what he always wanted to tell his brother.

If this isn’t a dream, then perhaps fate has granted Logan a second chance—to become the heir his parents hoped for, the brother Lonian deserved, and the shield against the Empire’s looming tyranny.

Logan Maclain

Logan is the heir to House Maclain’s territory before his expulsion. In the past, he was infamous for his cruel personality, feared by everyone under his command. However, after being sent back to the past before his downfall, Logan is determined to change his fate. Armed with knowledge from the future, he now strives to rebuild his family’s legacy and create a better future for everyone around him.

Lonian Maclain

Lonian is Logan’s younger brother and a prodigious warrior who once surpassed his older sibling even in training. Fueled by jealousy, Logan once poisoned Lonian, leading to his own disgrace. In the original timeline, Lonian was publicly executed for rebelling against the Empire. Now that Logan has returned to the past, he is determined to protect his brother and atone for the sins that destroyed their family.

Rick

Rick is Logan’s loyal servant from his youth. In the original timeline, Rick died many years before Logan’s mysterious second chance. Cautious yet devoted, Rick has always been wary of Logan’s notorious temper and often shielded other servants from his wrath. So when Logan suddenly begins acting kind and considerate after a supposed head injury, Rick is left confused, but quietly hopeful that true change is possible.

Padrick Maclain

Padrick Maclain is the baron and ruler of a small province in the Grandia Kingdom. Once a proud noble family, the Maclains have suffered generations of decline and loss of influence. Disappointed by his son’s arrogance and immaturity, Padrick believes Logan to be the end of their bloodline’s prestige. Yet after a near-fatal accident, his son’s sudden change in behavior gives Padrick a glimmer of hope for their family’s revival.
