Prepare for the final season of Boku no Hero Academia! From the very start, we’re thrown into an explosive showdown. All Might, now quirkless, still stands firm as the Symbol of Peace, determined to confront evil one last time. While Deku faces off against Shigaraki Tomura, All Might takes on his lifelong nemesis, All For One. Equipped with advanced technology, he dons a mechanized suit designed by Melissa Shield that replicates the powers of his students. Thus, the legendary hero rises again, this time as Armored All Might.
Despite his vast experience and the brilliance behind his new armor, All Might can barely keep up with All For One’s overwhelming power. Even so, he presses on with his trademark smile and hearty laugh. Each clash tears away another piece of his suit, yet he refuses to give up. As the battle rages, All Might recalls his days as a quirkless student and his first meeting with his mentor, Shimura Nana. He remembers his dream: to build a world where everyone can live together in peace. That dream began when he had no power, and now, quirkless once more, he fights for it again.

Meanwhile, another battle nears its climax. An army of heroes, including Fat Gum and Aoyama Yuga, faces Kunieda, a sadistic mass murderer who escaped from Tartarus Prison. Kunieda’s plant-based quirk allows him to use corpses as fertilizer, creating an army of monstrosities. With most heroes down and Aoyama’s Sparkle Belt destroyed, hope seems lost.

Yet Aoyama refuses to surrender. Even without his belt and unable to aim properly, he fires his Navel Laser into the sky. The scattered beams are suddenly refracted and focused by Hagakure Toru, who uses Warp Refraction: Navel Laser to channel the attack directly at Kunieda, finally defeating him.
Back on the main battlefield, All Might manages to pin All For One with a powerful overhead laser. Though his legs are shattered and his body battered, he keeps smiling through the pain. The weapon overheats and explodes, leaving All Might vulnerable. Just as All For One prepares to strike, he suddenly freezes; The Hero Killer, Stain, arrives!
Using a rock containing All For One’s blood, Stain immobilizes the villain. Together, he and All Might charge forward for one final stand. Will their combined strength be enough—or is this the end of the Symbol of Peace?
Find out in the epic final season of Boku no Hero Academia!

Midoriya Izuku (Deku)
Deku is an aspiring hero, but there’s one problem: he was born quirkless. Despite this, he’s determined to achieve his dream no matter the odds. One fateful day, his bravery proved he had the heart of a true hero. Impressed, All Might chose him as his successor, entrusting him with One For All. Now, Deku’s journey reaches its climax in this thrilling final season.

Uraraka Ochaco (Uravity)
Uravity, one of Deku’s classmates, is among the kindest and most compassionate heroes in My Hero Academia. She initially aimed to become a hero to support her hardworking parents. Throughout the series, she faces her rival Himiko Toga, whose dark obsession contrasts Uravity’s pure heart. In the end, Toga’s final act, sacrificing herself to save Uravity, marks a powerful emotional turning point in the story.

Katsuki Bakugo (Great Explosion Murder God Dynamight)
Bakugo is Deku’s lifelong rival and one of U.A.’s most talented students. Once arrogant and hot-headed, he frequently mocked Deku for being quirkless. However, Bakugo undergoes tremendous growth throughout the series. He learns that being a hero isn’t just about strength. It’s about teamwork, resolve, and protecting others. Now, he fights proudly beside Deku as they battle to secure lasting peace.

Toshinori Yagi (All Might)
Once known as the Symbol of Peace, All Might now fights on without his quirk, One For All. Though physically weakened, his heroic spirit burns stronger than ever. Quirkless yet undaunted, he faces All For One in a final stand for justice. His courage reminds us that true heroism lies not in power, but in the will to fight for what’s right.

Akaguro Chizome (Hero Killer: Stain)
Stain is one of the most complex figures in Boku no Hero Academia. While his actions are brutal and villainous, his ideology stems from a twisted sense of justice. He despises heroes driven by greed and vanity, believing only selfless heroes deserve admiration. Revering All Might as the ideal, Stain ultimately redeems himself by returning to aid the Symbol of Peace against All For One.
Manga
The Boku no Hero Academia manga, written and illustrated by Kohei Horikoshi, concluded its ten-year run in August 2024. The main series spans 42 tankōbon volumes, released between November 2014 and December 2024, with the final volume featuring 38 pages of new content.
Three official spin-offs expand the My Hero Academia universe. My Hero Academia: Smash!!, by Hirofumi Neda, is a comedic series featuring chibi versions of beloved characters. My Hero Academia: Vigilantes serves as a prequel set five years before the main story, focusing on unlicensed heroes helping others in secret. Finally, My Hero Academia: Team-Up Missions follows U.A. students collaborating with other schools and Pro Heroes on joint missions, offering exciting adventures.
Media
Boku no Hero Academia has released four feature-length films expanding its heroic universe. The first, My Hero Academia: Two Heroes, takes place after the “Final Exam Arc,” exploring All Might’s past and introducing characters who later appear in the final season—an uncommon crossover for anime films.
The second film, Heroes Rising, follows U.A. students on Nabu Island as they protect its residents from a powerful villain. World Heroes’ Mission, the third installment, features a cult attempting to eradicate quirks with explosive devices.
Finally, You’re Next introduces Valdo Gollini, a mafia-inspired villain who styles himself as “Dark Might.”
A live-action adaptation is also in development, with Jason Fuchs rewriting the script and Shinsuke Sato confirmed as director.
