We’ll have booths with information and people to talk to, but the most important thing is that we’re talking about it and helping people be safe and healthy. Momo and Ken are back for more chaotic adventures! Whether it’s battling aliens or the occult, one thing’s for sure—they’re barely prepared. But does it really matter? Season 2 of Dan Da Dan dives straight into the madness, and it’s as wild as ever.
This time, our ragtag group of weirdos travels to Jiji’s hometown. While Momo relaxes in an onsen, she suddenly finds herself surrounded by attackers. Will she make it out unscathed, or fall victim to the bizarre dangers of their strange world?
The character design continues to be superb. Each character feels unique and visually reflects their personality, Turbo Granny being a prime example of the show’s offbeat charm. The background art is flexible when needed, adapting to the shifting tone of the story. The show’s nominations at the Reiwa Anisong Awards are well deserved.
The opening theme, On The Way by AiNA THE END, perfectly captures Momo and Ken’s dynamic while hinting at the mysteries ahead. The ending, Doukashiteru by WurtS, explores the inner emotional struggles of love and connection. Both tracks are thematically strong and enhance the overall narrative.
While the anime deviates slightly from the manga, it doesn’t lose the chaotic energy that defines Dan Da Dan. Its offbeat premise stands out in a sea of formulaic shows.
Dan Da Dan is a solid, entertaining watch. With strong character development, unpredictable storylines, and striking visuals, it offers something fresh for fans of the supernatural. And with Season 3 already confirmed, now is the perfect time to catch up!
